Mae's latest thing is skipping, which is fine by me...something we can do together and right outside the door. She's getting pretty good now. She has her first field trip lat week...she was excited. I had to make her a bento (lunchbox) and she brought her own backpack. A big day. Recently we've cut out TV and so last week we thought we'd have a movie night. Mae was all for it and asked could she have a snack....so we thought, great, let's make some popcorn. Then Mae said "mommy, can I have an onigiri?" Which means a "riceball". So we said sure Mae and then forgot about the popcorn idea...another time. I guess her asking for a riceball for a snack is a good thing...funny. She's sooo Japanese! :)
