Mae has ben watching the old Cat in the Hat video. She wanted me to draw it so she could color the bow and then she tried to draw her own version. You can kind of see the green hat on top...not too bad Mae!


We had the girls Christmas party at their daycare. Both Mae and Kate were extremely shy and didn't want to join in at all. I was surprised by Kate. She didn't leave my side and when I put her down once to sing and dance with her friends, the fear in her eyes was unbelievable. Mae is usually shy in big crowds so that wasn't too much of a surprise. Is there an age when shyness disappears? Or could it be the whole Japanese thing? hmm.....not sure.
