My midwife; Ms. Kusano, Kate and IKate arrived on Sunday night at 10:18pm....I had just updated the blog and said that we were all still waiting and that evening at 4pm I had contractions that kept going until 6 and they seemed different so I called the midwife and she said come in for a check. We live an hour away so Phil and I went just to be sure. Phil was convinced it was a false alarm, but I thought it was real....and it was! When we arrived at 7:30 I was 4cm dilated...we were delighted! So that was it really, we were on our way! Contractions got stronger and at 9 I was 9.5cm. Things moved pretty fast and Kate arrived after some intense moments. The three midwives were amazing, they took great care of me and Phil was a great coach....We came home Monday evening to see Mae. She was so tickled to see her "baby sister".....We are so happy to have Kate with us now. Looking forward to some fun times ahead. I will put more pics up later.
