We all went down to Shimoda beach on Saturday. It was a warm day, not too hot. Some of us managed to get in the water. Mae played all day in the shallow water and ran on the beach, she absolutely loved it! Kate occupied herself after she took the first hour to get used to the sand. She didn't like it in the beginning, it was her first real beach day. She didn't like the sand on her feet and said "toes, toes!" and cried. She never did go near the water....can't blame her, I didn't either...it was cool! Everyone had a nice relaxing day...a great way to start our holidays.
We fly to Canada on Friday!
