We went on a local boat tour last week to see whales and puffins. It was a nice sunny day and we saw lots of birds and whales! Mae was so excited...Kate seems interested too...she liked being on the water. I realize I miss seeing the ocean while we are living in Japan...even though Japan is an island we don't see the ocean too often.
We followed a mother humpback and her calf around...or they followed us. They were real playful. Amazing to see them so close. We saw about 20 whales that day. Mae loved it.
