These days Phil is pretty busy in Tokyo with his new job so Mae and I are often alone in the evenings together. Kate goes to bed at 6pm so we have a bit of time together. Last night Mae and I made Auntie Pat a birthday cake. Mae was very helpful and loved pouring the flour and things into the bowl. She is getting so big now and acts like a real little girl. She loves to help make the bed...(or I should say, tries to help but it isn't really!). This was her first lick of the beaters...she wasn't too fussy on it though....not like her mom there!
