Kate is now 3 weeks old and she had her first beach day...and spent it mostly sleeping. Mae loved the water, it was a perfect day. The water was warm and shallow so she could play and run without too much worry. We thought we'd attempt driving down to Shimoda with a 3 week old and see how it went...it's a 2 hour drive each way. It was a great day so it looks like we'll do it again in a couple of weeks. It's nice to be near the ocean.
